Electric Fencing
Electric perimeter fencing — the first and last line of defence.
A visible, active deterrent that stops intrusions before they start. DOSHS-compliant installations with alarm integration and remote monitoring.
What’s included
A complete perimeter security system.
We design each fence to match your property — perimeter length, gate positions, threat level, and integration with your existing security setup.
High-Voltage Energizers
Certified energizers delivering a sharp, safe deterrent pulse. Non-lethal but highly effective — enough to stop an intruder in their tracks.
Integrated Alarm System
Immediate alarm activation on fence cutting, shorting, or tampering. Connects to your existing alarm panel or standalone siren.
Battery Backup
Continuous protection during power outages. Backup battery keeps the fence live when Kenya Power goes down.
Remote Monitoring
Monitor fence status and receive breach alerts on your phone via mobile app. Know the moment something touches your perimeter.
Zone Control
Divide your perimeter into independent zones. Arm or disarm specific sections without affecting the whole fence — useful for gated access.
All-Weather Construction
UV-stabilised insulators, galvanised wire, and weatherproof energizer housings rated for Kenya's climate — coastal humidity to highland cold.
How it works
From site visit to live fence — what to expect.
Site Assessment
We survey your perimeter, measure distances, identify gate positions, and assess soil conditions for pole installation.
System Design
Wire configuration (strands, spacing), energizer selection, zone layout, alarm integration plan, and earthing design.
Installation
Post setting, insulator mounting, wire tensioning, energizer installation, and all electrical connections with proper earthing.
Electrical Connection
Safe mains connection with circuit breaker protection, battery backup wiring, and earthing rod installation.
Testing & Certification
Voltage testing across all zones, alarm trigger verification, and documentation for insurance and regulatory compliance.
Training & Handover
Training on arm/disarm procedures, zone control, fault indicators, and basic maintenance for your team.
Yes. Electric fencing is legal in Kenya when installed to the correct standards. Our installations comply with DOSHS (Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services) regulations, including voltage limits, mandatory warning signage, and proper earthing. We provide compliance documentation on completion.
Our fences are non-lethal. The pulse delivers a sharp, unpleasant shock that deters intruders without causing permanent harm. Voltage and pulse frequency are set within safe limits as per Kenyan regulations. Warning signs are installed at regular intervals as required.
Every system we install includes a battery backup that keeps the fence energised during power cuts. The backup duration depends on battery capacity — we size it based on your average outage duration and perimeter load.
Residential properties typically use 6–8 strands; commercial sites 8–12 strands; industrial and high-security perimeters up to 18 strands. The number depends on fence height, threat level, and whether livestock are present.
Yes. We integrate the fence energizer with your existing alarm panel so a fence breach triggers the same response as a door or window alarm — siren, monitoring centre alert, or both. If you don't have an existing alarm, we install a standalone siren.
Annual inspections are recommended: check wire tension, insulator condition, earthing resistance, and battery health. We offer maintenance contracts with scheduled visits and rapid response to faults.
